Ahmadreza Iranpour
PhD Student
Ahmadreza completed his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at Shiraz University. He then pursued a Master's degree in Bioinformatics at Tarbiat Modares University, where his thesis focused on predicting protein-protein interactions (PPIs) using deep learning and wavelet transform. His research experience in AI led him to join the de Ridder group as a PhD candidate. Currently, Ahmadreza is working on foundation models, aiming to leverage advanced AI techniques to enhance the understanding of complex biological systems and improve predictive models.
