Li-Ting Chen
PhD Student
Li-Ting is a PhD candidate in the de Ridder Group. She obtained her degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2016. She was intrigued by complex mechanisms of diseases and decided to pursue a master Biology of Disease in Utrecht University where she focused on regenerative medicine and cancer evolution with single-cell technique. Her PhD research focusses on genome-wide cell-free DNA sequencing with nanopore sequencing technique. Li-ting is working on distinguishing fragmentation patterns of tumor derived cell-free DNA to enhance cancer detection in clinical setting.
