Marc Pagès-Gallego
PhD Student
Marc did his bachelor's degree in Biotechnology at Universitat Rovira i Virgili (Catalonia); he later did his Bioinformatics and Systems Biology master's degree at Universiteit van Amsterdam and Vrije Universiteit (Netherlands). Afterwards, he worked as a bioinformatician in the Burgering and the Dansen research groupd at the UMC Utrecht for a period of two years. Afterwards, he joined the de Ridder group as a PhD student in bioinformatics. He is currently working in the detection of 8-oxodG using Nanopore sequencing and different deep learning applications on Nanopore data.
